A new year and fresh opportunities – Female Entrepreneurs Of The Future Wanted
After the successful debut for women in 2018, the third round of the funding program of Global Digital Women (GDW), the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs (VdU), BRIGITTE Academy and Amazon will start soon. At the end of the program, the participants, who manage the digital transformation of their business most successfully, demonstrate their entrepreneurial spirit and make courageous decisions, are honored by an independent jury consisting of representatives of cooperation partners and politicians.
Until February 28, 2019, women can compete to run a small business with up to 30 employees. Whether a start-up or a family business, an innovative brand or a traditional B2B business, from the big city or a rural region – ‘Female Entrepreneurs Of The Future’ is open to anyone who wants to make better use of the potential of the Internet.
The President of the Association of German Businesswomen, Jasmin Arbabian-Vogel, is looking forward to the kick-off: "The focus of the program is the exchange with participants and coaches. They can learn from each other and give advice to each other - whether to select suitable sales channels, sound cost calculation or effective marketing. The last round of the funding program has shown us that cities do not have a single claim to digital entrepreneurship, so this year we are all the more looking forward to seeing participants from all corners of the country. "
The program offers enormous development potential for 20 participants. Supported by personal coaches and experts, the entrepreneurs develop an action plan for their digital business development as part of the program - and implement it. For half a year, they will be helped to increase the brand awareness of their companies, to optimize processes and to reach their customers through digital commerce. For example, female entrepreneurs can expand a local shop with e-commerce offerings, reach new customers around the world via digital infrastructures or establish their own brand online.
The Minister of State at the Federal Chancellor, Federal Government Commissioner for Digitalization and patron of 'Female Entrepreneurs Of The Future’ Dorothee Bär is supportive: "The previous participants have proven that digital economy is not just a man's business! Their ideas and their leadership strength inspire and show how successes in the digital world are possible. "
"Female Entrepreneurs Of The Future should create new role models: women who transform their companies into power plants for digital commerce, export and brand building - and thus inspire many other female entrepreneurs," said founder of Global Digital Women and co-initiator Tijen Onaran.
